Importance of this Workshop

This two-day workshop will provide participants hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge in computational seismology. The primary goal is to enable attendees to understand and apply numerical techniques for seismic source inversion and 3D wavefield simulation. Through structured sessions, participants will learn about seismic data analysis, moment tensor inversion, and wave propagation modeling using computational tools.

Topics Covered:

Seismic Model

About Workshop

Skill Development: The workshop/training will provide participants with hands-on training in using advanced computational tools and techniques for analyzing seismic data. This skill development will be crucial for seismologists and researchers in the field.

Networking Opportunity: It will also offer a platform for networking and building professional relationships with fellow researchers, instructors, and industry professionals. This networking can lead to future collaborations, research partnerships, and job opportunities.

Research Advancement: For graduate students and researchers, attending a computational seismology workshop can lead to advancements in their research, potentially leading to publications and contributions to the field.
